President Libby provided details t othe membership about the 3rd annual GRES Ireland trip that the group had recently returned from

New Business
The Family Picnic is on May 8th at 12p – 8pm at the Raleigh Police Club. All proceeds will benefit the Raybourne family

In the recent loss of fellow member Billy’s wife. Admission will be free, but donations are the goal.

Police Week in Washington, D.C. Mike Mullins and Phil Capicelli are our delegates and will be attending the Law Enforcement Emerald Society National Conference. President Libby advised the Delegates that GRES is still very interested in hosting the 2013 fall convention.

June meeting we will start working on the 1st annual GRES pub crawl. Still in the works, hopefully the price will be under $40 and include a t-shirt and drink vouchers. The idea has been made about posting it on the website as a non-committing sign up sheet so that an idea of how many people we may be looking at.

The Blue Knights will be having their Officer Down Memorial Ride on June 6th starting at Ray Price Harley Davidson

The Fraternal Order of Police will be having an open house at their new location (2539 Mid Pines Dr., Raleigh) on June 19th at 5pm – all are invited, see fellow member Bob Young for more details.
